sorry it has been so long since i've written, everything here is sooo busy at the moment!

In the last month
-been to the Bregenzerwald (the rural area) and made the most of the last of the snow - snow fights, snow kangaroos, running barefoot in snow!
-been to the Handball in Bregenz (Bregenz Vs Hard - two top teams in Austria - we sat right next to their version of the Barmy Army, and it was so load, but its an awesome sport to watch, and talk about rough!.. there was sweat, blood, ripped clothing, everything!
-one of the first people to put a part of my body into the bodensee after winter... my leg nearly fell off I think!
-finished physio treatment on my knee finally
-i have been on holiday to Italy for a week, it is an amazing place, there is so much to see and do there
-Had a big scout weekend where my group  catered for a large group ofscouts completing an easter vigil hike, i have also started helping out with the younger agegroups and am really enjoying working with the scouts here, they are a really great group. (Oh.. and something i am hoping to ask.... i have to opportunity to go to the World Scout Jamboree in England in the Summer Holidays as part of the Service team and i would LOVE to go, as it is 100yrs of scouting this year, i am already in Europe, and it is an absolute dream of mine... would you as a club please be able to give me permission?)
-spent a day hiking in Liechtenstein with Beccy's family (the person living with my family at the moment)
-written my first German exam - my language is getting quite good, i understand everything and can say whatever i like now, although i wouldn't call myself fluent as yet. I am also getting a hang of the dialect which is sooo different here. For example ... ich weiss nicht.... i wos net.... (i don't know) ... wie heisst du? ... wie hosch da?.... (what's your name)..... ist das mein Haus oder dein haus?.... ischt da min hos o din hos?... (is that my house or your house)    kleidung...haas... (clothes) - that one's really different.

The next month is very busy as well, i am off to Vienna for a school trip from Sunday 22 to Friday 27, and then I am staying the weekend longer with an exchange student friend from Brazil, and coming back on Monday 30. I move house on the saturday 5th May after, and have a scout working bee that weekend and a planning session for our 100 year celebrations. The Friday 11 after I am off to Salzburg for our District Conference, coming back on Sunday 13, by which time Kathryn's parents will have arrived (the parents of the canadian exchange student that was killed here at the end of last year while living with my current host family.) So they are here for a week, and i will be doing lots of different things with them as a part of the family here and also as a bit of support for my host sister, as it has been difficult for her. Then on Friday 18th we have a big Rotary Function with the orphan children from Vorarlberger Kinderdorf, and that night i leave for Spittal/Drau for the other District conference. On Saturday 19th we start straight from Spittal onto our Eurotour, which is for three weeks! And that brings me into June (4th).. which is almost unthinkable!!

So that in short is my next month and a bit.

I have not done any presentations or anything at Rotary yet, although i go to the meetings every week. They are very different here. It is a social meal, they have a guest speaker, questions, and then they all go off to work again!. But i have spoken to many of the rotarians during the last few weeks and we often have other outings, to places like the art galleries, military bases, children homes (a big project here), sailing, lots of different things.

Well, i really must go again, I will attach some photos that you can put on the website if you would like to!

Talk to you soon,

Liebe Grusse,
