Our District stretches from Brisbane City, North of the Brisbane
River up the coast for about 300kms North and inland 350kms, and
also includes the Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea. Our climate
ranges from subtropical to temperate with rains falling mainly in
the summer and the motto is "beautiful one day, perfect the
next!" Agriculture plays a large part in the economy of the
region, as well as light and heavy industry. Brisbane has a
population of 1.4 million, and Queensland nearly 3.6 million.
